Industry based learning (Student Perspective) 

Industry-based Learning (IBL) commenced at Swinburne University of Technology in 1963 in the Engineering Faculty and as such is the longest running Industry-based learning program in Australia. Each year Swinburne University of Technology places about 500 students from over 30 degree programs into Industry-Based Learning placements with in excess of 350 businesses participating.
